I have been blessed with many friends and family who inspire my life greatly. But the greatest inspiration in my life is Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. I have an inspired hope, joy, peace and faith. I do things that I never thought possible. He is my rock and my salvation. Happiness can not touch the joy He brings. He is strong where I am weak. He is the light of this world and the light of my life. His love is unconditional and perfect. He has inspired me to become more than I ever thought I could be. He is more than a friend! Do you need some inspiration? Need Jesus? Got Faith?
F.A.I.T.H
F is for forgiveness- We cannot enter the kingdom of heaven without Gods forgiveness.
“In Him (meaning Jesus) we have redemption through His blood the forgiveness of our sins. -Ephesians 1:7
A is for Available. Forgiveness is available for all.
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him will not perish but have eturnal life. – John 3:16
But Forgiveness is not Automatic
Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord, shall enter the kingdom of heaven- Matthew 7:21
I is for impossible- It is impossible for God to allow sin into heaven.
God is love- John 3:16 displays His great love by giving His only son for a sacrifice for all our sins.
God is also Just-
For His judgement is without mercy.- James 2:13
Man is sinful
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God- Romans 3:23
You may be wondering, well then how can a sinful person enter heawven, where God allows no sin.
T is for Turn- If you were driving down the road and someone asked you to turn, what would he or she be asking you to do?( change direction right?)
Turn in scripture means to repent. You must turn from sin and self and turn toward Jesus trusting Him alone.
The bible tells us “Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Sciptures- 1 Corinthians 15:3-4
If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.- Romans 10:9
H is for heaven. Heaven is eturnal life.
Here
I have come that you may have life and have it more abundantly -John 10:10
Hereafter
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and recieve you to Myself, that where I am there you may be also- John 14:3
How can a person have God’s forgiveness, heaven and eturnal life, and Jesus as personal Lord and Savior?
Faith- Forsaking all I trust Him. Romans 10:9
ABC’s A- Admit to God you are a sinner
B- Believe that Jesus is Gods one and only son.
C- Confess that Jesus is your Savior and Lord.
You must understand that this is not a religion. This is a relationship. So get ready for the best personal relationship you will ever imagine all inspired by non other than God.
Salvation Prayer
Dear Lord jesus, I believe that you died on the cross for my sins and that you arose from the grave. I now ask You to forgive me of my sins and to save my soul. Amen.
